HIS workmanship printable coloring page (in English and Spanish)

Hello friends! There are many things marinating in my heart and my blog drafts folder, but none of them are quite ready to share, so today I’m simply sharing this coloring page with you.
Spanish Bible verse coloring page

I illustrated this verse as the start of a Scripture card set on our value in Christ. What other verses would you include in that set?

This printable Bible coloring page is from Ephesians 2:10. You can download yours in English HERE and in Spanish HERE (or by clicking the images below).* You can check out all the other coloring page (including more in Spanish) HERE.

PRAYING the Word

Thank you for taking such care to create us. I pray that, in Christ, we will walk faithfully in the good works you’ve prepared for us to do.

QUESTIONS to ask about the verses:

1. God calls you His workmanship. How does that affect how you see yourself?
2. God calls other people His workmanship too! How does that affect how you see them?
3. This verse says you were created “in Christ Jesus for good works.” What does “in Christ Jesus” mean and why is that a key part of the verse?
4. What does this verse say is your part in what God has prepared for you?

*I’m so happy for you to enjoy my coloring pages and printables for your personal (not commercial) use! All artwork and photos are copyright Marydean Draws. If you share this, you’re awesome (!), and as a courtesy,  please link back to this post and not the PDF file. Thank you!!

I'm going to be introducing new prints from my new I'm going to be introducing new prints from my newest print collection over the next few weeks. Today, meet my watercolor nature color wheel and color mixing chart!

Each little creature and plant in the color wheel was hand-painted and then scanned and edited to fit in its slice of color. This is inspired by my watercolor classes, where I love to give an introduction to color theory. The second print is a simple watercolor mixing chart and shows the beautiful colors you can create just by mixing a few basic colors together!

Lastly, there is also a sticker version of the nature color wheel!

I wanted to get my hands on some paint this mornin I wanted to get my hands on some paint this morning, so I played with mixing burnt sienna with this rainbow of colors. I love the tones I was able to get. This is one of my favorite ways to just play with the medium. 💕
I'm going to be introducing new prints from my new I'm going to be introducing new prints from my newest print collection over the next few weeks. Today, meet these two versions of America, the Beautiful, my favorite of the patriotic hymns, by Katharine Lee Bates and published in 1895. Sharon McMahon, in her excellent book, The Small and the Mighty: Twelve Unsung Americans Who Changed the Course of History, from the Founding to the Civil Rights Movement, devotes a whole chapter to Bates, her story, and the writing of this song.

I decided to create one print with flowers, landmarks, and wildlife representing our vast nation from Hawaii to New York, while the other is inspired by the "purple mountains" and "amber waves of grain" lines. The poppies have been associated with remembrance of sacrifice since WW1. They also create a nod to the red, white, and blue of our flag.

I also created two stickers that go along with this theme. One has a line from this song and references our flag through tiny images. The second is the image of the Statue of Liberty with the words "Liberty and justice for all" (from the Pledge of Allegiance).
